Often known as the Octos, these people are very open when they find you to be trust worthy. They are soft and genital. They like to go with the flow and are very flexible but non-committal at times.

The Water Aliens are Amphibians. They are happiest when living in and near the salt water. They don't like fresh water much but can swim in it for some time. They evolved on a very wet, warm and swampy world with much volcanic activity. Their place of birth was very similar to terrain mangrove swamps. They evolved in a mangrove swamp sort of Niche. Fire is not a prime nor natural love of theirs thus they developed tech through bio-engineering first instead of through metallurgy after some time they learned about fire and metals and developed space travel but would rather have other races sell them that sort of tech so that they can spend their time developing new ways to manipulate life and evolution.

They can do wonders with healing but feel that only the fittest should survive. To heal a living creature that would normally die and thus not reproduce its weakness is seen as a sin. On the other hand if you are past your prime or can not reproduce then they will heal you because they feel that knowledge and wisdom should not be wasted. Also, if no creature with better genetics would likely survive then they feel healing is OK. Sometimes they would make an exception to this rule if you have something to give that should not be lost, like everything about them their ethics are very flexible.

They have a great fear of being caught out in the open so they have very maze like buildings and homes. Their homes are build like communes with many related large families living in one building.

Water aliens are masters of Bioengineering. They bought the rights to the genome of the Emperor Penguin and have modified it to be much smarter and more land loving. They use them to run errands for them so that they can avoid being out in the open themselves.

On land they walk on six of their eight legs in a crab or bug like fashion . Two of their legs have flexible claw like endings that they use like hands. These legs are the second leg on each side. In the water they move like a squid in the open or crawl along like and octopus inside their houses.

Water city is build half on the land and half in the water. It is not uncommon to find passages filled with water in land buildings or passages and rooms filled with air underwater. The buildings from the outside look like large piles of big natural rocks. The rocks tend to be black or blue in color. In contrast to the rocks are large beautiful crystal sculptures often with fountains build with them decorating both the inside and outside of the city.

The insides of the buildings are made to keep the Octos safe. The outside of the building has many doors that lead to small public rooms for selling of other affairs. These rooms have many doors that lead deeper into the massive rock buildings. The passages branch out like going up a tree trunk to the top. Many of these branches lead outside or even to traps. Often non-lethal but traps non-the-less. After this section the branching starts going the other way, leading to large communal rooms, often with large pools of water. Under the water are other passages leading to the see with a similar structure.

Water for drinking and growing
